Can my children swim alone?
5 and under, wearing a red wristband, must be within an arm's reach of a person that is at least 13 years of age.
6 and 7 year-olds and non-swimmers (those in swim vests), wearing a green wristband, must stay in the same pool as a person that is at least 13 years of age.
6 and 7 year-olds who have passed the swim test may stay in MRC pools unaccompanied. A person that is at least 13 years of age must remain in the facility.
How many children can I bring to the pool?
Zero-Depth Pool: A person (13+) may supervise up to three children wearing a red wristband.
Leisure and Lap Pools: A person (13+) may supervise up to two children wearing a red wristband.
Why are showers required before I swim?
Due to the high pH levels in personal hygiene products (shampoos, deodorants, lotions, etc.), chemical imbalances may occur in the pool.
Children must wear swim diapers until they are 100% toilet trained.
Wristbands will be distributed to children under 8 years old. For more information contact Guest Services.
