About the District
Eastern Rio Blanco Metropolitan (ERBM) Recreation & Park District is a special district in Rio Blanco County, Colorado that was founded in 1981.
Meeker Recreation Center, built in 2008, is the headquarters for District operations and also features a fitness room, aquatic center, lounge, multipurpose room, and dance studio.
The District also maintains the parks in Meeker, which feature open spaces, play equipment, fishing locations, hiking trails, and a mountain biking flow course.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Eastern Rio Blanco Metropolitan Recreation & Park District ("District") is announcing completion of the following construction project:
Meeker Recreation Center Dehumidification Unit Replacement Project

Pursuant to C.R.S. § 38-26-107, the General Contractor, Trane U.S. Inc., and all contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, vendors and manufacturers who have provided any materials or labor in connection with this construction project, are hereby notified that the District has established June 12, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. as the date of Final Settlement on this construction project. Information regarding the Final Settlement may be obtained from the District’s administrative offices, located at 101 Ute Road, Meeker, Colorado 81641. The General Contractor or any contractor, subcontractor, supplier, vendor and manufacturer who provided any materials or labor in connection with this construction project and who claims to have not been paid for all or any portion of such materials or labor, shall submit a verified statement of the amount due and unpaid on account of such claim to the District on or before the date and time established for Final Settlement. All claims shall be submitted in writing to:

Regular ERBM District Board meetings are scheduled for the third Tuesday of every month in the Meeker Recreation Center Conference Room starting at 6pm. Public is welcome to attend.

Funding Requests
The ERBM Board of Directors may from time to time, grant funding requests for support of community events, projects, or other activities that align with ERBM's mission: To create year-round recreational, cultural, and outdoor experiences that improve the well-being and promote a vibrant community for residents, visitors, and future generations of Eastern Rio Blanco County. Contributions are not guaranteed, and are dependent upon the District’s financial condition, operational needs, and availability of funds designated for community requests.
Who can apply?
The requester must be either a non-profit organization, governmental entity, special district, or school district. Clubs, committees, teams, or other groups must be a standalone non-profit or part of a board-structured organization. The Board will not consider requests submitted by individuals or for-profit corporations.
When is a request due?
First-time requests: A completed application form is due to the Executive Director at least two weeks prior to an upcoming regularly scheduled board meeting. Generally, the board meets on the third Tuesday each month; however, you may want to contact the Executive Director to confirm the day and time of an upcoming meeting.
Renewal or ongoing requests: Contact the Executive Director or the Administrative Services Manager for information.
