MRC reopens May 27 with extended pool hours, swim lessons, and more summer fun

MRC reopens Tuesday, May 27!

Meeker Recreation Center (MRC) is closed May 11 through 26 for annual shutdown.

Annual shutdowns generally take place in May and are typically one to two weeks in length. ERBM staff utilizes this time to complete large capital improvement projects, spring cleaning, and general maintenance. This stewardship helps keep our facility in tip top shape!

MRC reopens Tuesday, May 27. Center hours remain the same, but pool hours will be extended for the summer with no midday break. Here's the full schedule.

Summer Center Hours

• Monday-Friday: 5:00am-7:30pm

• Saturday-Sunday: 10:30am-6:00pm

Summer Pool Hours

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday:

  • Adult Swim (Ages 13+): 7:00am-8:30am

  • Open Swim: 8:30am-6:00pm

• Tuesday, Thursday:

  • Adult Swim (Ages 13+): 5:00am-8:30am

  • Open Swim: 8:30am-6:00pm

• Saturday-Sunday:

  • Open Swim: 11:00am-5:00pm

Planning your summer visit

Swim Lessons & Swim Team

Swim lessons and Swim Team practices will take place throughout the summer and will utilize various pools at the following times:

• Swim Lessons (Slide Pool):

  • Monday-Thursday

  • 8:30am-10:15am

• Swim Lessons (Lap Pool Lanes 1 & 2):

  • Monday-Thursday

  • 8:30am-11:00am

• Swim Team (Lap Pool Lanes 1-4):

  • Monday-Thursday

    • 7:30am-9:00am

  • Friday

    • 8:00am-9:00am
      

8:30am to 9:00am will be especially busy in the Lap Pool Monday through Thursday with both swim lessons and swim team practice happening concurrently. We will always try to make one lane available for lap swimmers when possible!

Bounce & Splash

This year, all Bounce & Splash events will be FREE! Visitors will receive free entry to MRC during the following dates and times:

• Wednesday, June 4 - 11:30am to 1:30pm

• Wednesday, June 18 - 11:30am to 1:30pm

• Wednesday, July 9 - 11:30am to 1:30pm

• Wednesday, July 23 - 11:30am to 1:30pm

Our first two Bounce & Splash events will be indoors only, while the third and fourth events will also have outdoor bounce houses set up, weather permitting. All pool rules apply.

Pool Parties & Birthday Parties

• There will be a large end-of-school pool party during regular open swim hours on Tuesday, May 27.

• If you'd like, you may check our birthday pool party schedule prior to your visit. Parties are generally scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays with a maximum of 45 people (unless otherwise specified.)
