Adult Open Gym Pickleball is coming this November!

You asked, we listened! We received quite a bit of feedback in our recent Community Survey about pickleball. To accommodate this request, we will be adding Adult Open Gym to our activity line-up this November and December!

Pickleball is rapidly gaining popularity as one of the fastest-growing sports in the U.S. and worldwide. Its appeal lies in its accessibility; it's easy to learn and suitable for all ages, especially beginners and older adults, thanks to its smaller court size and easy pace. The sport promotes social interaction, often played in doubles, fostering community and positive social experiences. Health benefits like improved cardiovascular fitness, agility, balance, and coordination make it an attractive low-impact activity, as well.

Whether you're a dedicated player or you've never tried pickleball before, here's your opportunity! Adult Open Gym Pickleball will be held Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00am to 11:00am at the Admin Gym (555 Garfield Street) starting November 3.

Punch passes are required to participate - get yours at Meeker Recreation Center or call 970-878-3403 to add punches to your account! $1 punch per person per use.
