Fitness Room & Studio

Enjoy healthy movement at Meeker, Colorado's premier fitness center. Our newly upgraded gym layout is designed to accommodate every fitness level with dedicated spaces to support all your health goals.

  • Cardio: Hop on a treadmill, elliptical, spin bike, or other cardio machine to improve your heart health.

  • Strength Training: Enjoy our spacious layout and take advantage of a variety of equipment for traditional lifting and functional training, including free weights, kettlebells, benches, bars and plates, strength machines, and power racks.

  • Studio: This versatile space hosts a variety of activities and group fitness classes. When not in use, the Studio is available for patrons during regular business hours. Improve your calisthenics and plyometrics or work on stretching and strengthening with provided yoga mats, bands, and rollers. To protect the dance floor, no weights are allowed in the Studio. Visit Guest Services for access.

ERBM Recreation & Park District is committed to a fun and safe experience for all patrons at Meeker Recreation Center. Please adhere to the following rules and guidelines during your visit.

All members and guests must scan in at the front desk upon entry. Non-members must purchase a day pass.

To ensure the safety and comfort of all patrons, the following are prohibited:

  • Weapons

  • Smoking

  • Alcohol

  • Drugs

  • Pets​​​

Lockers may be utilized to store belongings during your visit. Free locks are available at the Front Desk in exchange for a collateral item.

 

ERBM is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Fitness Room Rules

For the safety and comfort of all patrons, the following are prohibited:

  • Bare feet (Patrons must wear clean shoes with covered toes.)

    • The Studio may be utilized for shoeless workouts (no weight training).​

  • Open and/or glass containers and food​

  • Swimsuits

Age Restrictions:

  • No one under the age of 15 is allowed in the Fitness Room.

    • 13 and 14 year-olds may use the Fitness Room if they are supervised by someone 18+ or have completed a Fitness Room Orientation.

Basic Safety:

  • Use equipment only as intended.

  • Exercises may be performed in the hallway, but benches are to be left in the Fitness Room.

  • Personal fitness equipment is not allowed.

Please wipe down equipment and re-rack your weights when you are finished.

Studio Rules

The MRC Studio is available when not reserved for program use. Door must remain open at all times.

​For the safety and comfort of all patrons, the following are prohibited:

  • Outside or street shoes

  • Dumbbells or other weight training equipment

  • Open and/or glass containers and food

  • Stereo use

  • Touching or leaning on mirrors

  • Swimsuits

Age Restrictions:

  • No one under the age of 15 is allowed in the Studio.

    • 13 and 14 year-olds may use the Studio if they are supervised by someone 18+ or have completed a Fitness Room Orientation.

Basic Safety:

  • Use equipment only as intended.

  • Personal fitness equipment is not allowed.

Working out alone is great, but thriving in a community is even better! Research shows joining a group fitness class improves your long-term health and happiness in numerous ways.

  • Built-In Accountability: It is much harder to skip a workout when your instructor is expecting you!

  • Expert Guidance: Instructors guide your form, provide safety cues, and maximize your results.

  • Total-Body & Mental Wellness: Group exercise is a powerful stress-reliever and a great way to connect with neighbors and new friends.
