Youth Fishing Day & Circle Park Pond Grand Opening

Join us for Youth Fishing Day as we partner with Colorado Parks And Wildlife (CPW) and Meeker Lions Club for the grand opening of Circle Park Pond!  CPW will provide fishing rods, hooks, bobbers, and bait for youth participants in need of supplies.  CPW will stock Circle Park Pond with fish for the event and provide educational demonstrations throughout the morning.  Prizes will be awarded for the longest and heaviest fish.  Join our ribbon cutting ceremony during which all partners will be recognized.  ERBM will provide a FREE lunch, cooked and served by the Meeker Lions Club and the ERBM District Board.  This celebration will include our inflatable slide and cornhole sets!

Cheers to 40 Years Fun Run (1 & 2 Miles)

Kick off summer and help us celebrate our 40th Anniversary with our fast, flat, and fun "Cheers to 40 Years" Fun Run.  Pick your distance, one mile or two.  Walkers are welcome.  Celebrate your finish at the first concert of the Meekerpalooza Series.  Registration for the first 100 participants includes a sports water bottle.  Prizes will be awarded to the fastest overall male and female runner of each race.

Run for Your Life 5K (Run & Walk)

Celebrate the Fourth of July in red, white, and blue style!  Join family and friends on the redesigned course at the annual Run for Your Life 5K.  There is a 1.5 hour time limit to complete the course.  Registration cost includes a T-shirt.  T-shirt sizes guaranteed for registrations completed before June 18.

Prizes for the run will be awarded to the fastest overall male and female finisher.  Medals go to the top male and female finisher in each division.  Fastest overall male and female walker will be awarded for the walk race; no individual age division prizes will be awarded.

Stars-n-Stripes 3-on-3 Basketball Shootout

Get your all-star team together and join the Stars-n-Stripes 3-on-3 Basketball Shootout during the annual Meeker Range Call celebration.  T-shirt sizes guaranteed for registrations completed by June 12.  Avoid the lines; pre-register on July 3, 10:00am-2:00pm at the ERBM ambassador table with the Range Call vendors.  Day-of registration and team check-ins will be from 10:30am-11:30am at the ERBM registration tent at the Town Park basketball courts.  Games will begin at noon and courts will be divided by age divisions.

*Minimum of 3 players per team/maximum of 4 players per team.

Calling all past and present participants of ERBM programs!  Ride on our float and be a part of the Range Call 4th of July Parade.  Wear apparel that reflects the program in which you have been involved (e.g. dance/tumbling costume, swim cap, camp T-shirt, etc.).  Call Guest Services by July 2 to register.

July is Parks and Recreation Month!  Come celebrate at our Youthfest!  Build a boat and paddle your way across the pool at our 1st annual Cardboard Boat Derby.  Then enjoy a bounce house, water slides, and root beer floats!

1st Annual Outdoor 3D Archery Shoot

Grab your bow and join ERBM and Meeker Sportsman's Club for the 1st Annual Outdoor 3D Archery Shoot.  Enter one of the following competition categories: Bow Hunter, Freestyle, Traditional, or enter the Fun Shoot.  Prizes for adults include a 50% payback.  The top three youth, 16 years old and under, playing in the competition category receive trophies.  To help celebrate ERBM's 40th Anniversary, take one free shot at the 40-yard target.  Not satisfied with your accuracy?  Pay $20 to try again!  There is no limit as to how many chances you can take at this target to win a gift certificate for a dozen custom-made arrows (one set for the top male and top female). Wendll's hot dog and hamburger cart will be on-site for participants to purchase lunch.

Get off the pavement and experience country roads and mountain trails!  World class trails make this Duathlon a unique and scenic experience.  Mountain bike and helmet are required.  Running shoes are recommended.  Teams of mixed ages will be required to participate in the oldest age group represented.  Registration includes a T-shirt and a sports water bottle.  Awards will be presented at the conclusion of each race to the fastest overall male and female finisher.  The top male and female finisher in each age division will also receive an award.

Tri the Trails

Get off the pavement and experience country roads and mountain trails!  Warm pool water and world class trails make this Triathlon a unique and scenic experience.  Swim attire, mountain bike, and helmet are required.  Goggles, swim cap, and running shoes are recommended.  Teams of mixed ages will be required to participate in the oldest age group represented.  Registration includes a T-shirt and a sports water bottle.  Awards will be presented at the conclusion of each race to the fastest overall male and female finisher.  The top male and female finisher in each age division will also receive an award.

All or part of this operation is conducted on Public Lands under special permit from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management.

Wild 'N Wooly Trail Races (5K, 10K, 25K)

Run wild on wooly terrain.  Breathtaking views and formidable trails await.  Choose your distance: 5K, 10K, or 25K.  Each race features a variety of trails, gravel roads, pavement, and incorporates the Phillip and Dorcas Jensen Memorial Park trail system.  All races start behind the Meeker Recreation Center and finish at Paintbrush Park.  Race entry fee includes a T-shirt.  Awards will be presented at the conclusion of each race to the fastest overall male and female finisher and also the top male and female finishers in each age division.  Registration is capped at 100 participants for the 10K and 25K.

25K cut off time at the top of China Wall trail is 8:30am.  If participants are not there by that time, they will be directed to the 10K course by a course marshal.  All courses close at noon.
