ERBM – Continuity of Operations Plan Updates – March 9, 2021

*All protocols are subject to change based on updated CDC, CDPHE, and/or RBC Public Health guidelines. Updates will be posted to ERBMrec.com and the ERBM Facebook page or by calling MRC Guest Services at 970-878-3403.

 

MRC Hours adopted by resolution of the BOD. Any modifications to hours based on staff impacts or other necessary COOP changes will be posted on the ERBM Facebook page and website.

 

Meeker Recreation Center (MRC) Public Health Precautions

If you are not feeling well, stay home. While in the facility be considerate of others by following social distancing guidelines, adhering to other public health protocols provided by staff and recommendations posted throughout the facility.

Facility occupancy will be determined by CDPHE Status Dial based on Current Level of Protection for Rio Blanco County.

The District reserves the right to modify operations hours and general guidelines at any time.

Facility Access, Use, and Restrictions:

Fitness Room

  • Patrons should use disinfectant wipes provided to wipe down equipment.

  • Be courteous and maintain social distancing as prescribed by applicable public health protocols.

  • Custodial staff will be available throughout all operating hours and have increased frequency of sanitization in this area.

Natatorium / Pools:

  • Leisure swimming is available in all pools, with social distancing guidelines in place for the: Hot Tub (2 at a time or one family grouping), Lazy River, Zero Depth area, Water Slide, Diving Board and Climbing Wall. Lifeguards will be enforcing social distancing recommendations as needed with pool users.

  • Individual pools will have capacity limits based on overall allowable occupancies and to promote social distancing. These capacity limits will be posted in the pool area.

  • Showers are open and patrons are asked to shower prior to swimming.

  • Lifeguards on active guarding duty will not wear a mask.

  • Lifeguards not on active guarding duty will wipe all high touch surfaces used by swimmers.

Locker Rooms

  • Daytime custodial porter will clean regularly throughout the day. Deep cleaning to occur daily after-hours.

Lounge / MP Room / Studio

  • Lounge will be open with adherence to social distancing guidelines.

  • Tot-Spot (childcare) is available at this time.

  • No Game Day or Gentlemen’s Group.

Parks and Facility Operations:

  • All park amenities (playgrounds, ballfields, etc.) are open.

  • Shelter and camping reservations are available by contacting Guest Services, 970-878-3403.

  • Park restrooms are being cleaned throughout the day with increased frequency.

  • Local law enforcement is responsible for oversight of public health restrictions.

Recreation Programming:

  • Activity protocols will vary by program as determined by CDPHE Status Dial for RBC and industry specific guidelines. Contact the Recreation Department Manager, Shelly Rogers 970-878-7415 for specific details on each program.

 

Outbreak Protocol:
Should ERBM be notified by the RBC Public Health Department or other governing body that a user or staff member of our parks and recreation system have been identified as verified close contact or part of a possible outbreak, the following procedures may be taken:

 

  • Facility: Immediate review of impacted facility / program space to determine cleaning and disinfection processes (closure as needed). Deep clean and disinfect all areas (e.g., offices, bathrooms, machinery, and common areas), focusing especially on frequently touched surfaces. Extent and duration of closures will be determine by a variety of factors, including: staffing impacts, number of cases, public health guideline compliance, etc.

  • Programs: Follow identified RBC Public Health process for program participants, including:

    1. Contact tracing letters sent to participants.

    2. Case algorithm protocol compliance as identified by RBC Public Health.

    3. Suspend play / quarantine participants who meet identified criteria.
